You shall be my people (Ezek 36:28-36:28)

“Then you shall live

In the land

That I gave

To your ancestors.

You shall be

My people.

I will be

Your God.”

In very simple, but beautiful terms, Yahweh, via Ezekiel, said that the Israelites would live in the land that he had given to their ancestors. They were going to be his people, while Yahweh would be their God in a very direct personal relationship.
