Date of the Johannine letters

All three of the Johannine letters were likely written within a few years of each other.  Internal evidence indicates that they were written after the Gospel of John.  Thus, the second half of the first century, between 96-110, seems quite possible.  A date past 110–115 is unlikely, as parts of 1 John and 2 John were quoted by Polycarp and Papias who died in the first half of the second century.  Have you ever heard about Polycarp?
