Job curses the day he was born (Job 3:1-3:1)

“After this, Job opened his mouth. He cursed the day of his birth.”

After sitting 7 days and 7 nights in silence with his 3 friends, Job finally opened his mouth. He wanted to curse the day he was born. The world would be better without him. This is often the cry of a man in despair. However, these words begin this long poetic discourse on why it would have been better had he not been born.
