Warning against the world (chapter 2)

This author warned his readers.  They should not love the world or the things of this world.  The love of God the Father is not in those who love this world, that is full of lusty desires of the flesh, eyes, and greedy wealth.  These worldly desires do not come from God the Father, but from the world.  The world and its desires are passing away, but those who do the will of God will live forever.  Are you enticed by the lusty desires of this human world?
