We can accomplish more than we think (Eph. 3:20)

“Now by the power

At work

Within us,

God is able

To accomplish

More abundantly

Far more

Than all that we can ask

Or think about.”

Paul said, “Now by the power (κατὰ τὴν δύναμιν) at work within us (τὴν ἐνεργουμένην ἐν ἡμῖν), God is able (Τῷ δὲ δυναμένῳ) to accomplish more abundantly far more (πάντα ποιῆσαι ὑπερεκπερισσοῦ) than all that we can ask (ὧν αἰτούμεθα) or think about (ἢ νοοῦμεν).”  Paul explained that God is abundantly working in us, since his power works within us.  Thus, we are able to accomplish far more than what we ask for or think that we can do.  The result is that we almost seem to be superhuman because God is working in us to accomplish many wonderful things that we never thought that we could do.  Have you ever been able to do more than you thought that you could?
