The power to comprehend (Eph. 3:18)

“I pray

That you may have

The power

To comprehend

With all the saints

What is the breadth,

And depth.”

ἵνα ἐξισχύσητε καταλαβέσθαι σὺν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἁγίοις τί τὸ πλάτος καὶ μῆκος καὶ ὕψος καὶ βάθος,

Paul said, “I pray that you may have the power or strength (ἵνα ἐξισχύσητε) to comprehend (καταλαβέσθαι) with all the saints (σὺν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἁγίοις) what is the breadth (τί τὸ πλάτος), and length (καὶ μῆκος), and height (καὶ ὕψος), and depth (καὶ βάθος).”  Only this Ephesian letter has this unique word ἐξισχύσητε, that means have strength enough or perfectly able.  Only the Pauline epistles had this word πλάτος, that means breadth.  Paul wanted to make sure that the Ephesians had the power, strength, or ability to comprehend what he was telling them.  He wanted them to be like the other holy Christian saints.  He wanted them to have a full four-dimensional understanding of the height, breadth, length, and height.  He wanted them to have a complete appreciation for the limitless love of Jesus Christ.  Do you understand the love of Jesus Christ?
