Strong letter writer (2 Cor. 10:10)

“They say.

‘His letters are

Weighty

And strong,

But his bodily presence is

Weak,

And his speech

Contemptible.’”

Paul said that they say (φησίν), “His letters are (ὅτι Αἱ ἐπιστολαὶ μέν) weighty (βαρεῖαι) and strong (καὶ ἰσχυραί), but his bodily presence (ἡ δὲ παρουσία τοῦ σώματος) is weak (ἀσθενὴς), and his speech (καὶ ὁ λόγος) contemptible (ἐξουθενημένος).”  Paul indicated that they had heard some of the Corinthians say that his letters were weighty and strong, but in person Paul was weak.  In fact, his speech was not worth much or contemptible.  Paul may have been a poor speaker or at least not a great orator.  His writings, on the other hand, speak boldly about Jesus Christ.  He demanded a lot of discipline from his letters.  Are you a better speaker or writer?
