“Since we have such a hope,

We act

With great boldness.”

Ἔχοντες οὖν τοιαύτην ἐλπίδα πολλῇ παρρησίᾳ χρώμεθα,

Paul said that since we have such a hope (Ἔχοντες οὖν τοιαύτην ἐλπίδα), we act with great boldness (πολλῇ παρρησίᾳ χρώμεθα).  Paul based his beliefs on hope.  He had a great hope in Jesus Christ.  Thus, they could act with boldness, because of this hope.  Are you bold because of hope?
