“For this reason,
Those who believe
Who had faith.”
ὥστε οἱ ἐκ πίστεως εὐλογοῦνται σὺν τῷ πιστῷ Ἀβραάμ.
Paul said, “For this reason (ὥστε), those who believe (οἱ ἐκ πίστεως) are blessed (εὐλογοῦνται) with Abraham who had faith (σὺν τῷ πιστῷ Ἀβραάμ).” Paul then made the direct comparison with the believing gentiles in Galatia. Anyone who believed in Jesus Christ, was a believer with the same kind of faith as Abraham. Paul completed the connection between Abraham and the current contemporary Galatian gentiles. Faith in God, faith in Jesus Christ, that is what connected these gentiles with the Jewish Abraham. There was nothing about circumcision here. It was not a family dynasty. The faith of Abraham was like their Christian faith. What do you believe?
