Pergamum (chapter 2)

The Son of Man told the angel of the church in Pergamum that John should write these words down that come from the Son of Man who has the sharp two-edged sword.  This is what he said to the church at Pergamum. I know that you are holding fast to my name.  You did not deny my faith even when Antipas was killed.  However, I have a few things against you.  Some of you hold to the teachings of Balaam and the Nicolaitans.  If you do not repent, I will make war against them with my two-edged sword from my mouth.  He who has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says.  To those who conquer, they will get to eat the hidden manna.  They will get a white stone with a name written on it, known only by the one who receives it.  Do you listen to the Holy Spirit?
