Smyrna (chapter 2)

The Son of Man told the angel of the church in Smyrna that John should write these words down that come from the Son of Man who was the first and the last, who died and came to life.  This is what he said to the church at Smyrna.  I know about your tribulation, your poverty, and your slander.  There are pretend Jews there.  You are going to suffer.  You will be thrown in jail.  You will be tested with tribulations for ten days.  Be faithful until death and you will get the crown of life.  If you have an ear, listen to the Spirit!  To those who conquer, they shall not be hurt by the second death.  Have you suffered in your life?
