The Son of Man speaks (chapter 1)

John fell at the feet of the Son of Man, as if he was dead.  However, this Son of Man told him not to fear anything because he was the first and last, the living one.  He said that he had died, but now he was alive.  He had the keys of death and Hades.  He told John to write down what he saw, what is happening and what is to happen.  Then the Son of Man explained the mystery of the seven stars and the seven lampstands.  The seven stars were the angels of the seven churches, while the lampstands were the seven churches themselves.  Are you intrigued by the number seven?
