The third angel blew his trumpet (Rev 8:10)

“The third angel

Blew his trumpet.

A great star

Fell from heaven,

Blazing like a torch.

It fell

On a third

Of the rivers,

And on the springs

Of water.”

John said, “The third angel (Καὶ ὁ τρίτος ἄγγελος) blew his trumpet (ἐσάλπισεν).  A great star (ἀστὴρ μέγας) fell (καὶ ἔπεσεν) from heaven (ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ), blazing (καιόμενος) like a torch (ὡς λαμπάς).  It fell (καὶ ἔπεσεν) on a third (ἐπὶ τὸ τρίτον) of the rivers (τῶν ποταμῶν), and on the springs (καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς πηγὰς) of water (τῶν ὑδάτων).”  John said that the third angel, just like the first two angels, blew his trumpet.  With that, a great blazing star from heaven fell like a torch into a third of the rivers and springs of waters.  Once again, there was a partial and not a full destruction, since only one out of three rivers were destroyed.  Thus, one third of the earth, the sea, and the rivers were destroyed.  Have you ever seen a falling star?
