Sing praise to God with an Amen (Rev 7:12)

“They were singing,

‘Amen!

Blessing!

Glory!

Wisdom!

Thanksgiving!

Honor!

Power!

Might!

Be to our God

Forever and ever!

Amen!’”

John said “They were singing (λέγοντες), ‘Amen (Ἀμήν)!  Blessing (ἡ εὐλογία)!  Glory (καὶ ἡ δόξα)! Wisdom (καὶ ἡ σοφία)!  Thanksgiving (καὶ ἡ εὐχαριστία)!  Honor (καὶ ἡ τιμὴ)!  Power (καὶ ἡ δύναμις)!  Might (καὶ ἡ ἰσχὺς)!  Be to our God (τῷ Θεῷ ἡμῶν) forever and ever (εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων)!  Amen (ἀμήν)!’”  John heard all these voices singing, without mentioning what language it was.  They began and ended with the Hebrew Amen or so be it.  There were seven acclamations attributed to their God, indicating the totality of their praise.  God was blessed, glorified, wise, worthy of thanksgiving, honored, powerful, and mighty.  He would continue age upon age or forever.  He was the great creator of all.  Do you worship God?
