διὰ τὴν ἀλήθειαν τὴν μένουσαν ἐν ἡμῖν, καὶ μεθ’ ἡμῶν ἔσται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.
This author said, “The truth (διὰ τὴν ἀλήθειαν) abides (τὴν μένουσαν) in us (ἐν ἡμῖν). The truth will be (ἔσται) with us (καὶ μεθ’ ἡμῶν) forever (εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα).” This author knew and loved the truth. He emphasized the role and importance of truth. They had truth on their side. Truth was living within them and would remain with them forever. The opposite of truth was falsehood. Do you live a true life?
