An appeal to holiness (chapter 1)

This author said that God’s divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness.  We received this knowledge through the glory and goodness of God, these very great precious promises.  Thus, we may escape the corrupt lustful world around us.  We are able to become participants in God’s divine nature in a life of holiness or godliness.  Do live a holy godly life?
