Christ was revealed for your sake (1 Pet 1:20)

“Christ was destined

Before the foundation

Of the world,

But was revealed

At the end of the ages

For your sake.”

προεγνωσμένου μὲν πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου, φανερωθέντος δὲ ἐπ’ ἐσχάτου τῶν χρόνων δι’ ὑμᾶς 

This author said, “Christ was destined (προεγνωσμένου μὲν) before the foundation of the world (πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου), but was revealed (φανερωθέντος) at the end of the ages (ἐπ’ ἐσχάτου τῶν χρόνων) for your sake (δι’ ὑμᾶς).”  This author explained that before the foundation of the world or even creation itself, Jesus Christ was destined and known to be the savior of the world.  However, he was only revealed or made known to us humans at the end of the ages, for the sake of those living in the end times of first century Christianity.  Has Jesus Christ been revealed to you?
