The salvation of your soul (1 Pet 1:9)

“You are receiving

The outcome

Of your faith,

The salvation

Of your soul.”

κομιζόμενοι τὸ τέλος τῆς πίστεως σωτηρίαν ψυχῶν.

This author said, “You are receiving (κομιζόμενοι) the outcome (τὸ τέλος) of your faith (τῆς πίστεως), the salvation (σωτηρίαν) of your soul (ψυχῶν).”  This author emphasized that they were about to receive the outcome of their faith in Jesus Christ.  They would receive the eternal reward of the salvation of their souls.  Do you expect to save your soul?
