“You are being protected
By the power of God
Through faith
For a salvation
Ready to be revealed
In the last time.”
τοὺς ἐν δυνάμει Θεοῦ φρουρουμένους διὰ πίστεως εἰς σωτηρίαν ἑτοίμην ἀποκαλυφθῆναι ἐν καιρῷ ἐσχάτῳ.
This author said “You are being protected (φρουρουμένους) by the power (τοὺς ἐν δυνάμει) of God (Θεοῦ) through faith (διὰ πίστεως) for a salvation (εἰς σωτηρίαν) ready (ἑτοίμην) to be revealed (ἀποκαλυφθῆναι) in the last time (ἐν καιρῷ ἐσχάτῳ).” This author said that the readers of this letter were protected by the power of God. They had faith that salvation was prepared for them. This would finally be revealed to them at the end of time, the last days, or the last times. God was protecting them through their faith. They did not have to worry about the end times when everything would be made clear to them. What do you a belief about the end times?
