Precious faith (1 Pet 1:7)

The genuineness

Of your faith,

That is more precious

Than gold,

Though perishable,

Is tested

By fire.

You may be found

In praise,

And honor

When Jesus Christ

Is revealed.”

This author said, “Thus, the genuineness (ἵνα τὸ δοκίμιον) of your faith (ὑμῶν τῆς πίστεως), that is more precious (πολυτιμότερον) than gold (χρυσίου), though perishable (ἀπολλυμένου), is tested (δὲ δοκιμαζομένου) by fire (διὰ πυρὸς).  You may be found (εὑρεθῇ) in praise (εἰς ἔπαινον), glory (καὶ δόξαν), and honor (καὶ τιμὴν) when Jesus Christ (Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ) is revealed (ἐν ἀποκαλύψει).”  This author talked about the genuine faith that they had.  This faith was more precious than gold.  Gold, although it is perishable, is also tested or refined by fire when it is molded.  Thus, your faith may be a point of praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed to you at the end times.  Genuine faith is more precious than gold.  However, like gold, it needs to he tested or refined.  Your faith needed to be refined or molded to be perfect.  Thus, in the end of time, your faith might be a sign of praise, glory, and honor to Jesus Christ.  Has your faith been tested?
