Urge the younger men
To be self-controlled.”
Τοὺς νεωτέρους ὡσαύτως παρακάλει σωφρονεῖν
Paul said, “Likewise (ὡσαύτως), urge (παρακάλει) the younger men (Τοὺς νεωτέρους) to be self-controlled (σωφρονεῖν).” Paul then turned to the younger men. They too should be self-controlled, the key Christian, Hebrew, and Greek virtue. However, he had no other admonitions for these young men, as opposed to the young women. Do young men need less admonitions?
