The mission of an evangelist (chapter 4)

Paul solemnly urged Timothy in the presence of Jesus, the judge of the living and the dead.   He was to proclaim the message.  He was to be persistent.  There was no good time or bad time to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.  However, he should be patient in his teachings.  A time would come when people would not accept sound teaching.  Instead, they would have itchy ears, wanting teachers that met their own desires.  They will wander away from the truth to go after myths.  Timothy, on the other hand, should always be sober, carrying out his ministry.  Are you a sober person?
