Paul wanted Timothy to fight the good fight, because he was a man of God. He should pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. He should fight for his faith. He should aim for eternal life that is calling him. He had already professed his faith in front of many witnesses, including God, who gives life to all people. Just as Jesus Christ gave his good witness testimony before Pontius Pilate, Timothy should do the same. Thus, Timothy was to keep the commandments spotlessly. Do you follow God’s commandments?
