We remember (1 Thess. 1:3)

“We remember

Before God

And our Father

Your work

Of faith

And the labor

Of love

And the steadfastness

Of your hope

In our Lord

Jesus Christ.”

Paul said, We remember (μνημονεύοντες) before God (ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ Θεοῦ) and our Father (καὶ Πατρὸς ἡμῶν) your work (ὑμῶν τοῦ ἔργου) of faith (τῆς πίστεως) and the labor (καὶ τοῦ κόπου) of love (τῆς ἀγάπης) and the steadfastness (καὶ τῆς ὑπομονῆς) of your hope (τῆς ἐλπίδος) in our Lord (τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν) Jesus Christ (Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ).”  Paul remembered in his prayers before God the working faith, the loving labor, and the steadfast hope that the Thessalonians had.  Their faith, love, and hope were placed in our Lord Jesus Christ.  Paul was thankful to his heavenly Father for their living out their beliefs in love and hope.  Paul remembered how the Thessalonians had accepted his message and kept the word of God in faith, hope, and love.  Do you have faith, hope, and love in God?
