Christian Households (chapter 3)

Paul gave instructions on how Christian households should run.  Wives should be subject to their husbands.  Husbands should love their wives and never treat them harshly.  Children should obey their parents in everything.  Fathers should not provoke their children, so that they do not lose heart.  Slaves should obey their earthly masters in everything, wholeheartedly and fearing the Lord.  They should do it for the Lord, not their human masters, since they will receive their inheritance from the Lord.  The wrongdoer will be paid back, because there is no partiality with God.  Masters should treat their slaves justly and fairly, since they know they have a master in heaven.
