Jesus and truth (Eph. 4:21)

“Indeed,

You have heard

About Jesus.

You were taught

About him.

Thus,

The truth is

In Jesus.”

εἴ γε αὐτὸν ἠκούσατε καὶ ἐν αὐτῷ ἐδιδάχθητε, καθώς ἐστιν ἀλήθεια ἐν τῷ Ἰησοῦ,

Paul said, “Indeed, you have heard about Jesus (εἴ γε αὐτὸν ἠκούσατε).  You were taught about him (καὶ ἐν αὐτῷ ἐδιδάχθητε).  Thus, the truth is (καθώς ἐστιν ἀλήθεια) in Jesus (ἐν τῷ Ἰησοῦ).”  Paul explained that the Ephesians had heard about Jesus Christ.  They actually had been taught about Jesus Christ by Paul and his associates.  They should then realize that the truth is with and in Jesus Christ.  Everything centered on Jesus Christ.  They had heard, been taught, and realized that Jesus was truth itself.  Do you dislike the truth?
