“Thanks be to God
For his inexpressible gift!”
Paul ended by saying “Thanks be to God (Χάρις τῷ Θεῷ) for his inexpressible gift! Only this Corinthian letter used this word ἀνεκδιηγήτῳ, that means inexpressible, indescribable, or that cannot be thoroughly related. Paul used another unique word to explain the great gift that the Corinthians had, since it was indescribable or impossible to fully understand. Paul thanked God for this great gift that the Corinthians had that he had just talked about in the previous verse. God had given them this special gift. Do you thank God for his gifts to you?
