Perfect confidence (2 Cor. 7:16)

“I rejoice,

Because I have perfect confidence

In you.”

χαίρω ὅτι ἐν παντὶ θαρρῶ ἐν ὑμῖν.

Paul said, “I rejoice (χαίρω) because I have perfect confidence (ὅτι ἐν παντὶ θαρρῶ) in you (ἐν ὑμῖν).”  Only this Corinthian letter used this word θαρρῶ, that means to be of good courage, courageous, confident, or good cheer.  Paul was not surprised but happy because he had perfect confidence in the Christians at Corinth as he concluded his remarks about Titus and the trip to Corinth.  Do you have confidence in people?
