Death is the last enemy (1 Cor. 15:26)

“The last enemy

To be destroyed

Is death.”

ἔσχατος ἐχθρὸς καταργεῖται ὁ θάνατος·

Paul said that the last enemy (ἔσχατος ἐχθρὸς) to be destroyed (καταργεῖται) is death (ὁ θάνατος).  Paul explained that the last enemy of all humans is death itself.  Until now, all humans have suffered death.  Thus, Paul saw death as the last enemy that was to be destroyed by Jesus Christ with his resurrection.  Do you see death as an enemy?
