Christ and the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:13)

“But if there is no resurrection

Of the dead,

Then Christ has not been raised.”

εἰ δὲ ἀνάστασις νεκρῶν οὐκ ἔστιν, οὐδὲ Χριστὸς ἐγήγερται·

Paul flatly declared that if there is no resurrection of the dead (εἰ δὲ ἀνάστασις νεκρῶν οὐκ ἔστιν), then Christ has not been raised (οὐδὲ Χριστὸς ἐγήγερται).  Paul then challenged the inconsistency in their thought process.  If no one could be resurrected other than Jesus Christ, then he could not have been raised from the dead.  They were willing to believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus, but not their fellow Christians.  They did not see the obvious connection to the risen Jesus Christ.  To deny your own resurrection is to deny the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Do you believe in your own resurrection from the dead?
