Jesus appeared to Paul (1 Cor. 15:8)

“Last of all,

As to one untimely born,

He appeared also to me.”

ἔσχατον δὲ πάντων ὡσπερεὶ τῷ ἐκτρώματι ὤφθη κἀμοί.

Paul said that last of all (ἔσχατον δὲ πάντων), as to one untimely born (ὡσπερεὶ τῷ ἐκτρώματι), Jesus appeared also to him (ὤφθη κἀμοί).  Only this Corinthian letter used this word ὡσπερεὶ, that means as, as it were, and the word ἐκτρώματι, that means untimely birth, miscarriage, or lifeless abortion.  Paul indicated that the risen Jesus Christ had appeared to him also.  However, Jesus’ appearance to Paul was like an untimely birth, a miscarriage, or an abortion, since it was not like the others who had seen Christ.  According to the descriptions in Acts, chapters 9, 22, and 26, Paul saw Jesus in a vision, as he was persecuting the early followers of Jesus Christ.  After this vision, Paul converted to Jesus and became the apostle to the gentiles.  What do you know about the vision and conversion of Paul?
