“Anyone who does not
Recognize this,
He will not be recognized.”
εἰ δέ τις ἀγνοεῖ, ἀγνοεῖται.
Paul said that anyone who did not recognize this (εἰ δέ τις ἀγνοεῖ), would not be recognized (ἀγνοεῖται). Paul emphasized this further. Anyone who ignored or did not accept or recognize his authority as the command of the Lord, would in turn not be recognized, but rather ignored and would not be accepted. There was no equivocation here. Paul was insistent on his authority from God. Do you accept and recognize authority?
