Are subject to the prophets.”
καὶ πνεύματα προφητῶν προφήταις ὑποτάσσεται·
Paul said that the spirits of prophets (καὶ πνεύματα προφητῶν) are subject to the prophets (καὶ πνεύματα προφητῶν). Paul wanted to make sure that prophets had control of what was being said. Thus, the prophetic spirit was also under control and not some wild meanderings. Who controls what is said in your church assembly meetings?
