“Thus,
Together you may
With one voice
Glorify the God
And Father
Of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
ἵνα ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἐν ἑνὶ στόματι δοξάζητε τὸν Θεὸν καὶ Πατέρα τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.
Paul said that thus, together of one mind (ἵνα ὁμοθυμαδὸν) they may with one voice or mouth (ἐν ἑνὶ στόματι) glorify the God (δοξάζητε τὸν Θεὸν) and Father (καὶ Πατέρα) of our Lord (Κυρίου ἡμῶν) Jesus Christ (Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ). Paul wanted both the Jewish and gentile Christians to be of one mind and one mouth in their praise and glory to God, who was the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There was no ambiguity. God was the Father and Jesus was the Son. This was not merely Jesus of Nazareth, but with his full title, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Do you accept the concept of God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ?
