Christ and the circumcised ones (Rom 15:8)

“I tell you that Christ

Has become

A servant of the circumcised

On behalf

Of the truth of God

In order to confirm

The promises

Given to the patriarchs.”

Paul said that “I tell (λέγω) you that Christ (γὰρ Χριστὸν) has become a servant (διάκονον γεγενῆσθαι) of the circumcised ones (περιτομῆς) on behalf of the truth of God (ὑπὲρ ἀληθείας Θεοῦ) in order to confirm (εἰς τὸ βεβαιῶσαι) the promises (τὰς ἐπαγγελίας) given to the patriarchs or their ancestors (τῶν πατέρων).”  Paul told these Roman Christians that he was telling them that Christ became a servant of the circumcised ones because of the truth of God.  God, the Father, had promised their Hebrew ancestors, forefathers, or patriarchs that a Messiah or Christ would come to them via David.  Thus, it was so.  Christ, the son of God, and the son of David lived in Israel because of Abraham and the promises made to the old patriarchs.  Do you accept the fact that Jesus was Jewish?
