God did not spare his own Son (Rom 8:32)

“God did not spare

His own Son,

But gave him up

For all of us.

Will he not

With him also

Give us everything else?”

ὅς γε τοῦ ἰδίου Υἱοῦ οὐκ ἐφείσατο, ἀλλὰ ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν πάντων παρέδωκεν αὐτόν, πῶς οὐχὶ καὶ σὺν αὐτῷ τὰ πάντα ἡμῖν χαρίσεται;

Paul said that God did not spare (οὐκ ἐφείσατο) his own Son (ὅς γε τοῦ ἰδίου Υἱοῦ), but he gave him up for all of us (ἀλλὰ ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν πάντων παρέδωκεν αὐτόν).  Then Paul asked, “Will he not with him also (πῶς οὐχὶ καὶ σὺν αὐτῷ) give us everything else (τὰ πάντα ἡμῖν χαρίσεται)?”  Paul reminded his readers that God had not spared his own Son, Jesus.  He gave him up for all of us.  Paul used his question to explain his belief.  God would surely give us other things, if he was willing to give up his only Son.  God gave us his Son, but also everything else.  There is a lot to come.  How much more will God give us?
