God knows our heart (Rom 8:27)

“God,

Who searches

The heart,

Knows what

Is the mind

Of the Spirit,

Because the Spirit

Intercedes

For the saints

According to God.”

ὁ δὲ ἐραυνῶν τὰς καρδίας οἶδεν τί τὸ φρόνημα τοῦ Πνεύματος, ὅτι κατὰ Θεὸν ἐντυγχάνει ὑπὲρ ἁγίων.

Paul said that God searches (ὁ δὲ ἐραυνῶν) our hearts (τὰς καρδίας).  He knows (οἶδεν) what is the mind or purpose (τί τὸ φρόνημα) of the Spirit (τοῦ Πνεύματος), because the Spirit intercedes (ἐντυγχάνει) for the saints or holy ones (ὑπὲρ ἁγίων), according to God (ὅτι κατὰ Θεὸν).  Only the Pauline letters used this word φρόνημα, that means the thought, purpose, or aspirations.  Paul explained that God the Father searches our hearts.  He knows what the Holy Spirit is doing, because the Holy Spirit intercedes for the saintly holy ones, the followers of Christ, according to his ways.  Paul tried to show the relationship between God the Father and the Holy Spirit, who communicated directly with the Father without words on behalf of the new followers of Jesus here on earth.  Thus, their hope in the unseen God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit would lead them to salvation by way of Jesus Christ.  Do you believe in the intercession of the Holy Spirit?
