All things work together for good (Rom 8:28)

“We know

That all things

Work together

For good.

Those who love God,

Are called

According to his purpose.”

Paul said that we know (Οἴδαμεν) that all things work together for good (πάντα συνεργεῖ εἰς ἀγαθόν).  Those who love God (δὲ ὅτι τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν τὸν Θεὸν) are called (κλητοῖς οὖσιν) according to his purpose (τοῖς κατὰ πρόθεσιν).  Paul once again used the term “we all know” that all things work together for good.  There is a good plan of God.  God called all those who love him, according to his own purpose.  Once again, we are in a state of hope, waiting on the unseen love of God working its purpose in our lives.  Everything will be fine, but we have to hope for it now, since it has not yet arrived.  Will all things work out for those who love God?
