There are no kind people! (Rom 3:12)

“All have turned aside.

Together,

They have become worthless.

There is no one

Who shows kindness,

Not even one!”

πάντες ἐξέκλιναν, ἅμα ἠχρεώθησαν· οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ποιῶν χρηστότητα, οὐκ ἔστιν ἕως ἑνός.

Paul said that all (πάντες) have turned aside or deviated (ἐξέκλιναν).  Together, they have become worthless (ἅμα ἠχρεώθησαν).  There is no one who shows kindness (οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ποιῶν χρηστότητα), not even one (οὐκ ἔστιν ἕως ἑνός).  Only the Pauline letters used these words ἠχρεώθησαν, that means to make useless, sour, good for nothing, or corrupt, and the word χρηστότητα, that means goodness, excellence, uprightness, or kindness.  Once again this is exactly like Psalm 14:3.  The evildoers were stupid, since they had no knowledge.  They ate up Yahweh’s people, a metaphor that seemed to indicate that the evildoers were trying to do away with Yahweh’s people.  They were not calling on Yahweh God.  There were no kind people.  Do you know any kind people?
