Paul said that they were in danger (Acts 27:10)

“Paul said.

‘Sirs!

I can see

That this voyage

Will be in danger

With a disaster

And much heavy loss,

Not only of the cargo

And the ship,

But also,

Of our lives.’”

The author of Acts indicated that Paul said to them (λέγων αὐτοῖς Ἄνδρες) that he could see (θεωρῶ) that this voyage (τὸν πλοῦν) would be in danger (μέλλειν ἔσεσθαι) with a disaster (ὅτι μετὰ ὕβρεως) and much heavy loss (καὶ πολλῆς ζημίας), not only of the cargo (οὐ μόνον τοῦ φορτίου) and the ship (καὶ τοῦ πλοίου), but their own lives (ἀλλὰ καὶ τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν).  Paul was never reluctant to speak out and give his opinion.  So here also.  He told the men on board that he could see that this voyage was in danger with a disaster waiting around the corner.  There would be a heavy loss of cargo, the ship, and their own lives.  Paul warned them about what was to come.  How good are you at predicting what will happen?
