Go to the gentiles! (Acts 22:21)

“Then the Lord

Said to me.

I will send you

To the gentiles.’”

καὶ εἶπεν πρός με Πορεύου, ὅτι ἐγὼ εἰς ἔθνη μακρὰν ἐξαποστελῶ σε.

The author of Acts indicated that Paul said that then the Lord told him (καὶ εἶπεν πρός με) to go (Πορεύου), since he was (ὅτι ἐγὼ) sending him (ἐξαποστελῶ) to the faraway (μακρὰν) gentiles (εἰς ἔθνη).  Was Paul the apostle to the gentiles?  This was not explicitly stated anywhere else except to include to all people.  Paul seems to indicate that he had a specific mission direct from the Lord Jesus to go to the faraway gentiles.  Would you be willing to go to a faraway place to preach about Jesus?
