The Jews of Thessalonica came to Beroea (Acts 17:13)

“But when the Jews

Of Thessalonica

That the word of God

Had been proclaimed

By Paul

As well at Beroea also,

They came there too.

They stirred up

And incited the crowds.”

The author of Acts indicated that when the Jews of Thessalonica (οἱ ἀπὸ τῆς Θεσσαλονίκης Ἰουδαῖοι) learned (Ὡς δὲ ἔγνωσαν) that the word of God (ὁ λόγος τοῦ Θεοῦ) had been proclaimed (κατηγγέλη) by Paul (ὑπὸ τοῦ Παύλου) in Beroea also ( ὅτι καὶ ἐν τῇ Βεροίᾳ), they came there too (ἦλθον κἀκεῖ).  They stirred up (σαλεύοντες) and incited (καὶ ταράσσοντες) the crowds (τοὺς ὄχλους).  Once again, there was a fight between the Jews of Thessalonica and Paul.  He seems to attract fights no matter where he went.  These Jews from Thessalonica came and stirred up the crowd in Beroea also when they found out that Paul was there proclaiming the word of God about Jesus.  Here we go again, a good beginning and then trouble.  Have you been successful at something and then found difficulty later?
