Many of them believed (Acts 17:12)

“Many of them

Therefore believed,

Including not a few Greek

And men

Of high standing.”

The author of Acts indicated that therefore many of them (πολλοὶ μὲν οὖν ἐξ αὐτῶν) believed (ἐπίστευσαν), including not a few (οὐκ ὀλίγοι) Greek (καὶ τῶν Ἑλληνίδων) women (γυναικῶν) and men (καὶ ἀνδρῶν) of high standing (εὐσχημόνων).  Many of the Jews in the Beroea synagogue believed in Jesus.  However, there were also a number of prominent Greek men and women in Beroea who also believed in Jesus Christ.  Thus, this was a successful Jewish and Hellenistic mission.  How successful have been your mission actions?
