He was a believer in God (Acts 16:34)

“Then this jailer

Brought them

Into his house.

He set up

A food table

For them.

He rejoiced

With his entire household

That he had become

A believer in God.”

ἀναγαγών τε αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν οἶκον παρέθηκεν τράπεζαν, καὶ ἠγαλλιάσατο πανοικεὶ πεπιστευκὼς τῷ Θεῷ.

The author of Acts indicated that then this jailer brought (ἀναγαγών) them (τε αὐτοὺς) into his house (εἰς τὸν οἶκον).  He set up (παρέθηκεν) a food table (τράπεζαν) for them.  He rejoiced (ἠγαλλιάσατο) with his whole family or household (πανοικεὶ) that he had become a believer (πεπιστευκὼς) in God (τῷ Θεῷ).  There was no indication that this was a Eucharistic meal, since they did not use the word thanksgiving, but it might have been, since they were rejoicing.  He gave his prisoners something to eat as his whole family was excited to be believers in God.  Are you excited to be a believer in the Lord Jesus, God?
