“Saul went in
Among the disciples
In the name of the Lord.”
The author of Acts indicated that Saul went in (εἰσπορευόμενος) and out (καὶ ἐκπορευόμενος) among the disciples (καὶ ἦν μετ’ αὐτῶν) at Jerusalem (εἰς Ἱερουσαλήμ), preaching boldly (παρρησιαζόμενος) in the name of the Lord (ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ Κυρίου). After the reconciliation of Barnabas, Saul, and the apostles, Saul was able to move around in Jerusalem with the other early Christian disciples. He also was preaching boldly in the name of the Lord, just like he had done in Damascus, much like the other Christians in chapter 4:29. They had forgiven Saul for his earlier actions against this early Christian group. Would you forgive someone who had harassed your friends?
