The meeting in Jerusalem (Acts 4:5)

“The next day,

Their rulers,

The Elders,

And the Scribes

Assembled

In Jerusalem.”

The author of Acts indicated that the next day (Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐπὶ τὴν αὔριον), their religious rulers (αὐτῶν τοὺς ἄρχοντας), their elders (καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους), and the Scribes (καὶ τοὺς γραμματεῖς) assembled or gathered together (συναχθῆναι) in Jerusalem (ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ).  Now this seems to be like a formal assembly of the Jerusalem Sanhedrin.  This time, besides the religious leaders, the elders or presbyters and the writing Scribes were also present at this meeting in Jerusalem.  Do you like meetings?
