“Thomas answered him.
ἀπεκρίθη Θωμᾶς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ὁ Κύριός μου καὶ ὁ Θεός μου.
John uniquely indicated that Thomas responded (ἀπεκρίθη Θωμᾶς). He simply called Jesus (καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ), “My Lord and My God!” Case closed, Thomas was convinced that Jesus was his Lord and God.
