I am still with you (Jn 14:25-14:25)

“I have said

These things

To you

While I am still

With you.”

Ταῦτα λελάληκα ὑμῖν παρ’ ὑμῖν μένων·

John uniquely indicated that Jesus said that he had said these things (Ταῦτα λελάληκα) to them (ὑμῖν) while he was still with them (παρ’ ὑμῖν μένων).  Jesus made it clear that he had told them these things while he was still alive with them, not afterwards.  He wanted them to remember this after his death and resurrection.  Jesus really lived among us before his death and resurrection.  Do you listen to the words of Jesus?
