The man born blind described how he was healed (Jn 9:15-9:15)

“Then the Pharisees

Also began to ask him

How he had received

His sight.

The man born blind

Said to them.

‘Jesus put clay

On my eyes.

Then I washed.

Now I see.’”

John uniquely said that the Pharisees (καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι) also began to ask him (πάλιν οὖν ἠρώτων αὐτὸν) how he had received his sight (πῶς ἀνέβλεψεν).  He told them (ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς) that Jesus put clay (Πηλὸν ἐπέθηκέν) on his eyes (μου ἐπὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς).  He then washed his eyes (καὶ ἐνιψάμην) and now he could see (καὶ βλέπω).  The Pharisees asked the same question that this group of Jewish people had just asked him in verses 10-11, with the same response as there also.  There was a lot of questioning of this man born blind, who had received his sight.  The response was always the same.  Do you tell the same story the same way every time?
