No answer (Lk 22:68-22:68)

“If I question you,

You will not answer.”

ἐὰν δὲ ἐρωτήσω, οὐ μὴ ἀποκριθῆτε.

Only Luke uniquely indicated that Jesus said that if he questioned them (ἐὰν δὲ ἐρωτήσω), they would not answer him (οὐ μὴ ἀποκριθῆτε).  Therefore, he was not going to answer them.  This was quite the opposite of Mark, who said that Jesus said explicitly that he was the Messiah, the Christ.  Would you answer people who would not answer you?
